THE HISTORY OF KRÜTH
J. & F. Krüth GmbH was founded in 1969.
At first the firm mainly provided cigarette lighter-casings, shears, razors and letter-openers with decorative etching, but the founder quickly recognised the potential in texturing equipment surfaces. Today, using modern techniques, patterns and inscriptions are etched into equipment surfaces, giving the end product a more pleasing appearance.
Each selected design and pattern can be tailored individually to the client’s requirements. Car manufacturers in particular are aware of the value of these etching techniques for their equipment. To meet the needs of the motor vehicle industry, J. & F. Krüth GmbH moved into Brazil and opened a branch. On other continents, the SEC partners provide service. At J. & F. Krüth GmbH innovative technology and the technical skill of old-fashioned craftsmanship show the way into the modern industrial world. In the plastics industry, meanwhile, the texturing of equipment is of vital importance and can no longer be dismissed. These days, plastic objects with textured surfaces surround us in our everyday lives, even if we seldom notice them. In 2005, our special corporate commitment in the areas of promoting new development and co-operation with the regional schools was awarded the “Active Corporate Culture” Prize.
