EQUIPMENT ENGRAVING

The requirements for surfaces have changed fundamentally in recent decades. In today’s motor industry, a positive impression and a pleasant feel, meeting the most stringent demands, are not only part of the functional characteristics of the end product.

The sum total of form, depth and gloss level of the texture generate the desired effect in the surface. Today, our clients can select suitable surface features from more than 1,000 texture patterns and from these they can create and clarify their own ideas. Even though we use modern techniques, technical skill, great patience and above all four decades of experience are essential to enable us to create complex surface textures for the most challenging mouldings and to assess the outcomes of individually modified production parameters. Our long-term experience lets us reach for the very limits of technical and material achievability.

Re-inking textures requires both experience and the steady hand of a highly-trained engraver. The perfect reproduction of a surface depends entirely upon the quality of the craftsmanship. In order to meet the exacting demands of our clientele, particularly the motor industry, we train our engravers on our own premises.

With the aid of special coatings, our modern surfaces will withstand exposures for which the base material alone would be no match.
